I was most excited and delighted to once again have the opportunity to have Cyndi Lauper wear some of the Sprinkle fashion range for publicity shots whilst on her 2008 tour.

March 8, 2008, The Age (Melbourne) The silk/viscose Alkira Blouse was featured in the ‘Annual fashion issue’ of the age (melbourne) magazine. It was part of an article, Fifty Fashion Finds, photographing pieces from 50 new independent fashion store in Melbourne.

June 24, 2008: Deck of Secrets; Deck of Secrets is a Melbourne based company creating decks of cards that focus on different cultural aspects of Melbourne. They popped into my boutique, took photos and listed it on their website. Thanx Ladies!! Check out their website deckofsecrets.com

July 2008: LOTL, The Fashion Issue; Once again, LOTL, produced a beautiful layout of the Sprinkle collection. This time focusing on autumn/winter 2008, Madam Mafia. Beautiful Daiana, featured in the photo series. Photography: Leo Farrell

July, 2008: Cherrie Magazine, Issue 10, titled STYLE LOVERS-Girls Who Live for Fashion, featured an article by Rachel Cook and Katrina Fox focusing on 3 queer women working in the fashion industry:- Sara Rundell, celebrity stylist, Lena Jones, stylist and of course myself, Sprinkle. I’m on the left handside, 2nd from left (in performance mode!)

July, 2008: Cherrie Magazine, Issue 10 Whilst Cherrie mag did an article on me as a fashion designer, Rachel Cook, who interviewed me, also focused on my costume and performance work. Shown here is one of the costumes I made for The Town Bikes’, MEAT show. Dec, 2007: Apparel Magazine Vol.40 No.11 The Australian editor of Australian and New Zealand Apparal, Cheryl Harty, wrote an article heralding the lauch of Sprinkle’s flagship boutique, Sprinkle Emporium.

As a result of Cyndi Lauper’s stylist spotting my fashion in a local boutique, I was fortunate enough to have some of my clothes adorn Cyndi during her 2004 At Last Tour. I was also very excited when I was given tickets to her incredible show and got to meet her afterwards…a definite career highlight!!
