Who is the Woman Behind the Label?
The woman behind the fashion label is also known as Sprinkle.
With more than 20 years experience in fashion, costumery and performance,
this flamboyant fashion designer is well equipped to be at the helm of this creative business.
A tall and curvy woman herself, Sprinkle struggled for many years trying to find clothes that not only fit but flattered her curves…to no avail. So instead she started creating and sewing her own garments,
and the rest is history!
Drawing to her a celebrity clientele that runs the gamut from Yana Alana & the Paranas and The Town Bikes, to Cyndi Lauper and Australian Rock legends, TISM, Sprinkle certainly knows how to turn heads. Her fashion has been seen on Australian TV including Winners and Losers, Neighbours, A Current Affair & Spicks and Specks. Elise Mooney, from A Current Affair, even wore one of Sprinkle’s frocks whilst interviewing Hugh Hefner at the Playboy Mansion…and the Playboy Bunnies loved it!
Born in Rome to an Italian father and Russian/Polish mother, Sprinkle absorbed the cultural traditions of both. This is manifest in her affinity for lush, sensuous, colours and quality fabrics that she sculpts into “classics with a twist”. Her heritage, together with a background in costume design, combines in a dramatic, yet timeless aesthetic that is realised in painstakingly crafted garments.
